  1. Wizard of Oz was my obsession! When I was three I had mostly everything "Dorothy." I had her ruby red slippers every year (three years in a row). I mostly wore ruby red slippers with all my outfits. I was even Dorothy one year for Halloween. I would watch it every day about three to four times a day. I first heard of The Wizard of Oz when I was three at a store and I saw something having to do with it. I noticed Dorothy right off the bat. Since then, I love it! The Wizard of Oz is amazing and joyful, I think it is still popular today. I mean, the movie is about more than 50 years old! People love that movie, I could watch it all the time. (At least the people I know) Well, I was a Wizard of Oz fan all the way!

  2. I'm gonna talk about "The Poky Little Puppy". It is about when five little puppies dug a hole under the fence. They ended up on a hill and counted themselves but there was only four. So they looked around the hill and found him running round and round with his nose on the ground. Then the four other puppies asked the Poky Little Puppy what he was doing and he said he smelled something. The four puppies sniffed and they smelled rice pudding. So they ran home and their dinner was waiting for them. There was only four puppies. And there mom realized they were the puppies who dug the holes under the fences, and made them go straight to bed. Then, the Poky Little Puppy came home after everyone was sound asleep and went to bed. But then, They put up a sign that said "Don't Ever Dig Holes Under This Fence!" But the five puppies did it anyways. I remember my Grandma and Mom used to read this to me all the time when I was younger. (I still love this book today). And I think this book is still popular today because it's like a little kids book. A Lot, of people other than me still love this book.

  7. The first fairy tale I have heard was little red riding hood. I first heard when I was 3 years old to that day I always tell my little sister that story and she will pass it on down. My favorite part about the story is when little red visits her grandmother (wolf) and says oh what big eyes you have, what big teeth you have, what big hands you have. When I have children I will p0ass this story on to them and they will pass it on to their friends and family.

  9. Going back to my days as a toddler, my favorite fairy tale was The Little Mermaid. I remember I had to watch that movie at least once a day! It’s about a little mermaid who has a beautiful voice and longs to be a human. She collects all of this human stuff and keeps it in her grotto beneath the waves. Her father is the king of the sea and she is the youngest of 6 sisters. So, her father was very protecting of her. One day, she see’s a ship on the surface and spots a handsome price and immediately falls in love. But when her father finds out, he gets furious and destroys her grotto and her collection. She bursts into tears, until two eels come and take her to the sea witch. The sea witch makes a deal with the mermaid to change her into a human for three days to see if the prince can fall in love with her and kiss her by sunset. But to do that she has to give the sea witch her voice. The Litter Mermaid agrees and meets the prince. On the third day, she doesn’t make it by sunset and the sea witch comes back! But luckily, the mermaid defeats the sea witch and gets to be with her prince with her fathers help. It’s a great fairy tale and it’s always been one of my favorites!

  11. My favorite fable is The Three Little Pigs. It was one of my most favorite fables when I was little. I remember that when I first heard it, it made me laugh. I liked to look at the pictures because they were mind provoking. I didn't think about it that way when I was little but I liked the pictures a lot. I think that it is still popular because it will be read to many generations of children and people still read it to their class. Most likely the class is in first and second grade.
